LABOUR RELATIONS OFFICER

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 11 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 385 844,68 – R 500 849,70) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to Chief Employee Relations Practitioner

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma Labour Relations or Labour Law
  • Code EB Driving License
  • 2 years in unionised working environment

Key Performance Areas:

  • Coordinating activities associated with strategic and operational plans of the sub-section
  • Facilitating administration requirements associated to the functioning of the Local Labour Forum (LLF)
  • Coordinating the implementation of specific requirements associated with grievance procedures and disciplinary hearings
  • Facilitating dispute resolution activities to all relevant stakeholders regulated in the sector
  • Drafting capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
  • Facilitating specific administrative requirements associated with the functionality of the section
  • Contributing to the stakeholder management and communication of the section
